I won’t ask what you were drinking on New Year’s Eve, but what’s in your glass now?
Sending you blessings for 2012, everyone. There are some exciting things in store here at The Raw Food Muse, so stay tuned.
I am committed to keeping you inspired all year long.
Keep shining, keep it green!

Hi Gena,
You don’t have to ask because you know it was green!
I have a question. Vitamix blenders….Is it do such a good quick job because of the speed or is it the size of the blade? I have to use my food processor to powder nuts because my blender doesn’t do the job. I wish Lou would have explained the reason the good blenders do the job and why not to waste money on cheap blenders. Explain to me O Wise One!!!!!! Since Lou’s course lost almost 20 lbs and 41lbs in the last 4 months…No more fat belly and my blood pressure dropped to that of a high school kid.
Blessings to you
Edwin
Edwin! My goodness! What progress! YOU ARE RAWKIN !!!! That was a powerful seminar on so many levels: healing, rejuvenating, regenerating ~ so glad we met there : ) Motor power is key with more expensive blenders, like the Vitamix. I was 2 years raw before I got a “good” blender, so I know exactly where you are coming from – I had a decent food processor (with a warranty : ) but still used el cheapo blenders. I learned the hard way to never blend nuts or try to make frozen ice cream in the cheaper blenders, because you’ll burn out the blender right away. If you are still doing the work of receiving the Vitamix that is awaiting you (abundance awaits us all, we just have to open ourselves fully – again, it took me two years on full raw : ) then your choices are: -1- use the cheaper blenders as carefully as you can, knowing that from time to time you have to replace it (spending $30-60 every 3-4 months or so, depending how often you use it) -2- get a vitamix now on a payment plan, which over time, will be the same money (or less, depending on model you buy) as what you are doing now. What helped me was changing my thinking to this: I am no longer spending money on a stove, expensive meat every week, nor dairy, coffees, everything that was a part of my old lifestyle, so I have free space in my budget, and I deserve to give myself the best there is. Meditation elevates you to highest thinking: how can I get a Vitamix another way, that feels better for me (like at garage sales, craigslist, doing a trade with someone – or some other creative solution). Anything is possible, my friend. WE are living proof. Keep RAWKIN and stay in touch. : ) In-Joy, In-Love, In- Abundance, Gina
Hi Gina and Edwin,
I haven’t done green smoothie until I was in Lou Corona class. I am so thankful about that seminar. It’s help me a lot. The most important for me is to believe what you are doing. I trusted what ever Lou said and I experiment to my self. Before for me the green salad or smoothie was not in my table at all. All raw vegetables that I used were cucumber and tomato. I loved so much fruit, but since I started raw with green smoothie, my test changed. Now I love all different green leaves, all kind of different vegetables and I eat less fruit.not because I have to eat like that, just because my body detox and the normal test came to me. Now I enjoy my new raw life. The most appliances that I use is my blender but I am going to buy Vita-mix because this is the equipment that I use the most in all my meal-dressing, souse, Smoothie, soup, deserts. God Bless you for your kindness and helpfulness to all people looking for the true health.
with love,
Petya
Petya! So happy to hear you are dancing with raw food now, and learning to listen to exactly what your body needs in every moment, how beautiful : ) High-powered blenders like the Vitamix make all the difference if you ask me – you can make everything you said plus you can make juice in them too! A raw fooder without a good blender is like a cooked fooder without a stove : ~ ) Thanks for writing, and for your lovely words. I feel your shining energy and am grateful to be dancing with you in this life! RAWK on : ~ )
I am enjoying some herb Chai Tea while I write this. Yummy!
Mary, herbs are powerful, so healing. MMMMMM I can smell that now: yum yum! Sending you loving scentalicious light back : ) Gina
Hi Gina, yes there is glorious greenness in my wine glass, thanks to your influence and inspiration, the kale in our garden, and the rather mystical appearance of a Vitamix! Sarah
Music to my ears, Sarah! I can hear the Vitamix blending now . . . just like being at the airport, ahhhhh. : ) Blessings to you, dancing, singing nature soul!
